AirNet is one of the few carriers granted both the D.O.T. and Transport Canada Special Permit.
D.O.T. Radiopharmaceuticals Special Permit
AirNet II holds party status to DOT SP-15227. This special permit allows us to carry a greater ratio of radioactive materials, such as radiopharmaceuticals, per plane than most other carriers. We are especially equipped to meet the critical shipping needs of the radiopharmaceutical industry.
Transport Canada Permit for Equivalent Level of Safety
AirNet II is also authorized by Transport Canada under permit number SA 8818, which recognizes our party status to DOT SP-15227 and allows us to operate with the same special status in Canada’s air space. This special permit enables us to provide the highest level of radiopharmaceutical shipment service between Canada and the United States.
