AirNet Pilot Training Program

All candidates selected from the AirNet pilot selection process attend AirNet’s Initial Pilot Training Program (IPTP), which is conducted at our main headquarters at Rickenbacker Airport, in Columbus, Ohio.

The training lasts two to three weeks and includes a detailed analysis of FAR Part 135 regulations, operations manuals, aircraft systems and performance, aerodynamics, CRM, advanced ATC operations and weather considerations. Also included is up to five hours of simulator training and up to six hours of flight training in a Beechcraft Baron with a company Instructor.

Completion of this program meets or exceeds the airmanship training requirements of FAR Part 135. All jet training is conducted at Simuflite in Dallas, TX. We teach the art of “on-time performance”. Pilots are housed and paid during training.
